5. Who cares? Hamas caused it.
David ,   Hartford USA   (05.22.15)
The World Bank is going to try to pin Gaza's problems on Israel? No dice. The people of Gaza voted in a terrorist leadership which wants more to harm Israel than to take care of its citizens. They made their bed, and now they are sleeping in it. Gaza will only get 'fixed' when the people of Gaza eradicate Hamas. Until then, this isn't news. Let the World Bank know-nothings throw more money down the Hamas toilet, it's the only thing they know how to do.

when Hamas spending money on arms wars and looking after their leaders bank accounts what does anyone and bank want to happen Gaza was better off under Israel rule
12. Gaza facing 'dangerous fiscal crisis
tiki ,   belgium   (05.22.15)
Is the World bank as equally 'very concerned about the 'dangerous fiscal crisis in many other countries of the world? I' didn't think so. But then the other people in crises are no "Palestinians", the favourite poor people of the "moral" West..
13. Hamas mismanagement govt.policy of war 100% responsible
(05.22.15)
As long as Hamas continues its only consistent policy of washing war against Israel, outside investment to improve the lot of Gaza will never materialise. They are a failed government with a failed policy. Nobody else is to blame for the choices Hamas make for themselves. The World Bank is perfectly right to identify the palestinian government of Gaza as the original cause of deprivation but unclear whether a unified government will have any significant impact on improving the daily lives of Palestinians while the continue to reject peace talks with Israel and repair their relationships with other neighbours like Egypt, Saudi and the Gulf states.
