Not surprising seeing Assad's forces running away and even leaving their wounded. Seen it before. Another Israeli-Arab volunteer for ISIS killed. Does his family receive Betuach Leumi?

3. what a freegn' mess! Turkey's Erdogan is behind much of it

a) He could do far more to close Turkey's southern borders. Instead he is facilitating the flow of recruits and supplies to ISIS. b) as a next step - if he was serious about opposition to ISIS - Turkish army could readily crush ISIS in Mosul, just over the border in Iraq... However, since Erdogan's priorities are clearly more pro-Islamic - than pro-European or Western - he won't do any of the above. Is this who the West really wants as a NATO member ? US, EU and NATO should put the spotlight on this sleeze bag. Note that the primary problem is Erdogan, not necessarily Turkey as a whole. Meanwhile, how is he doing with that new 200 room palace... while Islamic fascism thrives just south of his country?

little girls are captured and sold into sexual slavery but obama claims that global warming is the major strategic threat. this is what happens when a demagogue seduces a nation and assumes quasi dictatorial powers.

I believe the Egyptian army should be supported to take on the 'Beasts' Egypt can and wants to do the job. These 'Beasts' will not stop with Syria or Iraq. And the Egyptian military seems to be the only real hope. It requires Sunni s to do the job. And note they give no slack to Islamic extremist.s!

I was a new IDF recruit when Assad the father came to power in 1970. Prior to that, there were changes in government in Syria every two or three years. Under the Assads, there was over 40 years of government stability in Syria, until the "Arab Spring". Whether it's his generals, his opposition or ISIS that takes over from him, Syria will be split into warring factions for years to come-- like a re-run of the situation in Iraq. This is the legacy of the French and British Empires chopping up the Middle East to suit their purposes after WW I, regardless of ethnic demographics. Look at any map of the Middle East... can you find any other area of the world where borders run for so many hundreds of kilometers in straight lines?
