1. What Abbas is saying
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (05.22.15)
This unelected tyrant is saying that he has no intention to negotiate anything except full capitulation to all his demands. Looks to me that Abbas and his cronies have dumped the Oslo accords, the only reason that they occupy their positions. It's about time they were given their marching orders, shown the door out and kicked through it. Maybe sanity and realism will return when we see the back of Obama. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
2. Abbas a Jew hater
Martin ,   Uk   (05.22.15)
He reclaims yet another Jewfree state, this one to be called Palestine. No international condemnations. Only Israel contains hardline and extremist Jews. Abbas was, is and will always be a terrorist
3. Peres is feeble, leftist past. Hotovely is glorious future!
Chaim ,   Israel   (05.22.15)

Sammy ,   Newcastle   (05.22.15)
Set up a Meeting Agree Parameters on SB in advance that assures Palestinians of Quid Pro Quo in Territory Exchange and Israel Territorial Security Buffer Zone around the Pinch Point Then there can be no misunderstandings and CONSTANT ping pong back and forth on and off hiccups to the negotiations
8. Old crook

Westa bank belongs to Israel Build there. Do not obey crook Abbas. The PA is unable to form any reliable governing organozations. They are morons without concience.
9. Gaza could possibly be the only State of Palestine.
Gabe ,   Canada   (05.23.15)
Abbas doesn't dare to show up in Gaza, so he is irrelevant. Gaza could become the " Singapore of the Middle East " with Israel's backing after a peace deal.

12. #9. That formed the basis of the so called 1999 Plan
Sammy ,   Newcastel   (05.23.15)
Which was the creation of a contiguous Palestinian State based around Gaza with a quid pro quo land exchange of the West Bank for South West Israel plus possible land purchases from Egypt. In terms of total territory this Palestine could have been the equivalent of Lebanon or possibly the size of Israel This was first discussed in secret in New York in 1999 with Palestinian academics including Edward Said and a group from the UK, Germany and the West Bank in a no holds barred brain storming to find the best options for the stablishment of the country of Palestine Word is that this idea dubbed the 1999 New York Plan may even have been communicated privately to Bill Clinton himself Yet it was felt that with Arafat still in control and Hamas a law unto itself it had no traction or prospect whatsoever to move it forward so archived and almost forgotten. But the idea is still held sway by many Palestinians wishing for a wholly contiguous country with a coastline and space and potential Seems like there are so many options and possibilities. Perhaps its time for Palestinains everywhere to have a real dialogue about the REAL options for Statehood not the fanciful notions based on the creation of Palestine from the ashes of Israel

15. #13, the Builder
Gabe ,   Canada   (05.25.15)
Never say never. For how long Hamas would resist to the possibility of wealth, fame and power in Gaza as well as the admiration of the Arab World ? They are not ignorant. It would only take them to discard some dogmatic limitations and enjoy peace and prosperity. It would be the State of Palestine that everyone would recognize and respect.
