1. WOW!!
Christy ,   Boston, US   (05.27.15)
Congratulations to the father and mother! Wish them all the best. I am just 60. I can't imagine carrying a child to term, giving birth, and then caring for him at my age. Just don't have the stamina to do this. Any woman who can do this at 65 must be a remarkable lady! Hats off to her!
2. Michael Davison are you so sure your children or grandchldrn
Dave   (05.27.15)
who were born from younger parents will not be orphans before they reach 18? In all likelihood Mr and Mrs Shachar might very well see grandchildren or perhaps even great-grandchildren from their son.
3. Genital mutilation is sommething Islamic radicals do
John   (05.27.15)
It's nothing to be proud of. but at least moslims wait until a boy can speak and consent.
4. Mazal Tov!
Yael ,   Santiago, Chile   (05.27.15)
Wonderful, beautiful news for these parents. I wish you the best in this new step of your life. Love and Brajot for baby Shimon and all the mishpacha. Yael
5. What's remarkable is SCIENCE! Not some backward
(05.27.15)
superstition. It is bloody SCIENCE that resulted in this pregnancy, all you idiots praising "Hashem". Dumb paesanos! But then again, you don't possess enough intelligence to comprehend that sun doesn't revolve around Earth. (at least for the past 5776 years)
6. @ #2, Dave
M. Davison ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (05.28.15)
This boy is much more likely to be an orphan by that age. I think even you would have to agree with that. The parents seeing great-grandchildren from their son is unlikely, they would have to live until almost 100 to do so. Did you read the article or just the headline and talkbacks?
7. 5 Science without religion is lame
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (05.29.15)
No other than A.Einstein said that.Good enough?
8. Ora, although I often agree with you, not this time! Not all
(05.29.15)
that was (or wasn't) uttered by Einstein was genius. Let's not get carried away. Science surely needs no mysticism. For that we've got Uri Gellers, the learned Rebbes and good old fashioned "unlucky no.13", right? That's how we started on the path to enlightenment, then we discovered gravity, stars and electricity. Still: a good card-trick is a pleasure to witness and guys sticking their hands through glass panes are fascinating to watch. if you want to believe that it cannot be, but for the will of God that they can do it, be my guest. So is with the rest of "miracles", prophecies, smoke& mirrors shows. There are some excellent programs on the TV about the mysterious ways our mind works and how it can be manipulated beyond our belief. Go and have look....gitte Shabbos'n all!
9. 8 Nothing meaningful has ever been
ORA ,   JERUSALEM   (06.02.15)
created without soul. Religion is food for the soul.So A.Einstein has a point, although, i agree with you, that everything he said is not true. I don't think you can manipulate people with strong believes.
