The sum being claimed sounds a bit excessive and it was very aggressive. Policemen should examine their behaviour and consider whether their attitude was motivated by prejudice, if so they should be sent on further training. It was for military police to deal with any illegality if it occurred which was not obviously apparent. It also showed disrespect to the Ethiopia community and the Israeli military uniform.

The police who attacked him should be the ones to pay, not the tax payer. I agree he should sue, but unless those who did the shameful deed are made to pay they will not change their bad attitudes.
