made an escape....
4. hmmm uncertain how credible this report is
Cameron ,   USA   (05.31.15)
Syria is Russia's traditional entry point into the ME, and only firm ally in the Arab lands through the decades. Hard to believe they're now in the process of writing off their ally and client of so many years, or able to end their affairs in Syria in such a low-key manner. Huge loss of face & disaster for their ME ambitions if in fact true.
5. Russia waking up--a bit late
C   (05.31.15)
russia has been supporting the genocidal assad regime for years. russia now knows that assad will fall. russian withdrawal from syria is a necessity. the islamic state is knocking on the door.

Maybe the Russian arms industry has sucked the Assad regime's coffers dry. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!

As much as Russia wants a Mediterranean seaport, it knows not to back a loser. One thing is more important to Russia than a seaport: Saving Face!
8. CORRECTION! SYRIA HAS RUN OUT OF MONEY
IRANIAN JEW ,   LA USA   (06.01.15)
so the Ruskis have decided to pack up and go. That was expected. Russians were only there to make money. My guess is the persian mullahs will fold soon too. Wow! the Lebanese servants better get out of there before ISIS gets to them.

Better Syria, in anarchy, on Israel's doorstep than Russia. It is going to happen but it will not save Israel any defense money.
10. Hezballah/Iran last trump card
Avi L.   (06.02.15)
Seeing the likes of Iran and of its minions beaten by a bunch of animals, that they cannot blackmail through some UN organization, is always a good new. They get some of their own treatment. But there's a negative side to it. If cornered, Iran could attack Israel in order to try and rally all the muslim world behind it or at least not against it. Hezballah could, after some 20 years of gangsterism, claim to be the "resistance" against the little satan (the great satan having just dropped its pants trying to appease the mollahs). Here come the 100,000 rockets ready to be launched against us. Here comes the "international community" switching its "attention" from Syria to Israel. Here comes some truce with ISIS who would look like our ally in case it continued hostilities against the shias. So once more in Middle East history some "progressive dear leader/resistance" will try and solve its own problem throwing some war on us. In this scenario it's even more important to stay clear from the "more bombs" approach that would only play into Iran's/ISIS' hand. Destroying Lebanon for Hezballah aggression would be counterproductive.
