Few of us ever believed that military force was among all those "options on the table" considered by Obama. Iran certainly acted in the belief Obama would ever resort to force, and thus held out against US demands, winning concession after concession from the U.S. Now, as we approach the June 30 deadline, Obama - suggesting he might be the worst US negotiator ever - has confirmed to Iran that the U.S. will not use force. So Iran has no reason not to hold firm to its demands.
