1. Churchill ???
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (06.05.15)
He also said that he enjoyed slaughtering African tribes and saw whites as the superior race. Probably not the ideal role model to use to excuse Israels policies, or perhaps you knew this already.
2. The occupation will destroy Israel, not BDS
Stan ,   Israel   (06.05.15)
BDS was not anti-Semitic when it destroyed White rule in SA, just as it is not anti-Semitic now. BDS is against the violation of human rights by one race against another. In order to stop BDS, SA President de Klerk released Mandela from prison, and negotiated with him the transfer of power from the White minority to rule by the majority to be carried out in elections where all citizens of all races have a vote. See Mandela's auto biography "LONG WALK TO FREEDOM"
3. The solution to Israel's problem with BDS is simple
Stan ,   Israel   (06.05.15)
When compared to that faced by South Africa. The Whites had to hand control to the Non White majority. For them this constituted an existential threat. By comparison, it is far easier for Israel to end BDS by negotiating conditions for the withdrawal of our army and the establishment of a Palestinian State alongside Israel. Unlike the Whites in SA, we will continue to be the masters of our own fate. We will not be dependent upon the whims and fancies of the Palestinians. The end of the Occupation will not be an existential threat to the future of Israel which is hundreds (if not thousands) of times more powerful economically, militarily, and technologically. The only threat to Israel today is from rockets. Moving borders 20 km to here or 30 km to there is irrelevant to rockets, they can reach every part of Israel. POLITICAL AGREEMENTS CAN GUARANTEE SECURITY, BORDERS CANNOT.

Excellent article! Mr. Yemini here, as always, shines with clarity!
5. We must make into pariah our own slanderers of Israel, a la:

6. He sure was. Imagine he was run over by a truck? We'd be
(06.05.15)
all speaking German today! Who knows, maybe "our" Churchill DID get run over by a truck, never made it into politics and now the world will be facing East, on a carpet, toward Mecca, with it's collective ass in the air.... Fun to imagine ain't it?
7. anti-Semitism
Toledano Jean-Pierre ,   Israel   (06.05.15)
BDS is simply a modern form of anti-Semitism. Destroy it!
8. The most stupied species on the planet
tiki ,   belgium   (06.05.15)
The so called 'Homo sapiens'
9. #2-3. Israelis know left is biggest danger to Israel!
Chaim ,   Israel   (06.05.15)
Stan, give it up. Almost every Israeli knows Judea and Samaria belong to Jews. The "occupation" is total B.S. and fewer buy it all the time. The patriotic right has been infallibly correct on ALL major issues from Oslo to Disengagement to Arafat to...everything. And the left infallibly wrong. Trying to scare Israel into surrender is also futile. Both polls and elections prove most Israelis know the left is the biggest danger to Israel. Which is why it is fast melting away.
10. its our own fault
ky   (06.06.15)
We have reared five generations of western youth that has no knowledge that you must always be prepared. The guiding principle taken from history is that there always comes a time when the freedom that you take for granted , that our forefathers fought so hard to establish, is at great risk and that the only way to defend it is to fight for it with all your might.
11. Some points to consider Stan.
Ok ,   Canada   (06.07.15)
Hi Stan, I too think Israel needs to stop expanding settlements and find a political solution with the Palestinians. We don't need the West Bank and east Jerusalem. But you are not taking into account the fact that some Palestinian groups REFUSE to recognize your right to even exist. Those groups want to take over land that will clearly is and will be Israeli territory in any future agreement. Why did Arafat refuse Baraks peace offer in camp David? Why did Abu mazen refuse olmerts peace offer? What do you do when the other party REFUSES any kind of settlement, insist that millions of Palestinian refugees have to be settled in Israel rather than a future Palestinian state and doing so while using the BDS movement to hurt Israel and sway international opinion at the same time. Isn't the continued Palestinian refusal of all peace offers have any weight here? Isn't Hamas open call for Israel's destruction have any bearing on the Palestinian goal? What if Israel completely pulls out of the West Bank and Hamas and extremist salafi groups fire rockets on Israel? What should Israel do then? Just some point to think about.
