Obama was underestimated to pull off a " deal " with Iran and he did , he did not really care about the second and third order effects . He trusted the Iranian foxy approach to things where Iran would not explode a device in a year or two . However, what really counts to the Iranians is the hegemonic conduct and to their credit they always insisted that is off the negotiating table . That leaves not the west but their putative allies in the region to handle Iran .What should they do , it is not complex : - The Arabs should continue to rase oil production and finance the Sunnins and nationalistic opposition forces in Iran . - the Israelis should use their international media and acedemoc centers to undermine them . - All should support the opposition in Syria to bleed HozbAllah , the Jouthis , the shite gangs in Iraq . - Israel should presume killing their scientists and intell. People every whee possible . - Support Irnaan opposition forces where ever they are . Iran is not as. Strong as many think it is , but it needs persistent effort to forces them to alter their conduct .

Nor is Israel or Jerusalem, Saigon or Tehran. USA needs to be more upfront with demands it makes on Palestinians to halt boycott political and military attacks on Israel if it wants continuing USand EU support.

Iran's hegemonic ambitions can only be curbed militarily but nobody wants to do the dirty work on their shift...it's like playing pass the parcel with a bomb and waiting to see in whose face it explodes. It would have been far easier and cheaper to deal with Iran at the outset. Every day we wait the job gets bigger and more expensive.
