1. perhaps Israel can help the Jebel Druze in Syria via
Rafi ,   US   (06.14.15)
airdrop of food & medicine... and, in the last resort, include weapons. Meanwhile, that area (Jebel Druze) is even closer to Jordan, where US troops are stationed. (The Druze involved in the clash with al-Nusra were in northern Syria near Idlib...)

Avi L.   (06.14.15)
We need friends, let's not lose one more opportunity. Soon there'll be a sunni/ISIS threat at our doorstep. We can be the attraction point for all those minorities that now are for what they feel being the least of two evils, Assad and Hezballah against ISIS. Let's start the gathering. Druse and other minorities won't be a danger for us. Let's not make again the same mistake we did with Tzadal. Let's show the middle east that we can have a win win situation with our allies.

9. Nooononoooo!!!!!
(06.14.15)
Our IDF as G-d army will not involve in Syria Islamic war of horror. If Syrian Druze needs protection they should petition to the *international community* that they love so well at the United Nation (UN) to send troops to protect Syrian Druze. Apart from that we say nonono!!!! Even our government will not make that petition on their behalf. Because we don't know what their g-d and religion told them to live or die. So we will not be part of that.

BUILD BABY BUILD!!!!   (06.14.15)
and obama turned tail on Iraq. Why should Israel be expected to save her enemies? Nuts to that. Save Jewish lives, that's Israel's mission not to aid and abet her enemies. BUILD JEWISH ISRAEL WITH HOMES !!!
14. # 9 You nailed it......
BUILD BABY BUILD!!!!   (06.14.15)
This Muslim vs. Muslim war does NOT involve Israel or America it's the battle between two factions of the religion of 'surrender' which word is not in Israel's lexicon. Which of the two factions of Islam will be the victor? And, does any one care? Non Muslims don't. They are eliminating Muslims faster than you can say Holy shi'ite. MORE BUILDING !!!!

But not an American responsibility or concern. The lucky few will be the ones who manage to get into Israel or Lebanon. The real Syrian bloodbath has yet to start.

21. This crisis can be an opportunity
Avi L.   (06.15.15)
There seem to be little doubt left that Assad won't last long. Iran seems too busy at its doorstep Iraq, it's motley militias don't seem to be able to stop ISIS onslaught. "After Saturday comes Sunday" and after Assad comes Nazrallah. Then it will be all sunni, "more extremists" (ISIS) "less extremists" (Hamas) all aiming to destroy Israel and killing Jews. Middle east minorities know very well what "after Saturday comes Sunday" means. To whom will the Christians, Druzes and others turn to? Unless they will submit and pay jizya, or leave if they'll still be able to leave. Israel could become the rallying point for them. The idea of a coalition is not new. Visionary leaders from the Yishuv and the first years of the country started to implement it, but all the politicians' politics and lack of knowledge made it impossible. Now a new window of opportunities is opening. We acquired a deep understanding of the region Middle east minorities cannot go back to some "arab" fold. There doens't seem to be any "arab fold" left. It's ISIS (or some other form of caliphate) or death. Let's not be mistaken, Saudi Arabia collaboration could not last longer than their scare of Iran's axis. Moshe Arens criticized long ago our minority politics. Let's not keep doing the same mistakes over and over again. Let's get out of the low level, short sighted, political deals that dominate what's left of the "public thing".
