Life was cheap. If this guy refused to do it, who's to say he wouldn't have ended up as a prisoner as well? It's not up to us to forgive- only the dead can do that. He'll have quite a reception when he approaches the Pearly Gates. 300,000 people asking "Why didn't you help us?"
