This week I read about a school strike by students due to overcrowding. The housing crisis is well known, as is the lack of extensive efficient public transportation. In the meantime, the gov't wastes millions of shekels using precision munitions, and sacrifices the lives of IDF soldiers, in order to minimize casualties to the Arabs, who initiated the war. A child could have told you that the entire war was a setup from the get go, designed just for this purpose of international condemnation, which was a fait accompli regardless of any actions Israel did to minimize casualties. Isn't it about time the gov't started caring more about Jewish needs than worrying about events such as this which are beyond its control? The average Israeli struggles to make ends meet while the gov't squanders billions in such endeavors. Instead of being "good Jews", perhaps we should care more about our own? Just a silly thought that I am certain the spineless ball of jello that passes for a prime minister would have a good laugh at.
