1. I give them 3 years. Sad but true

2. French Jews come to Israel. Send "Palestinians" to France
Chaim ,   Israel   (07.07.15)
What a wonderful population exchange! Israel gets the peaceful, brilliant, creative hard working Jews. France can have their beloved "Palestinians", who are none of those things.
3. To #1 Why so negative?
Andy ,   Israel   (07.07.15)
I've been here 20 years and wouldn't leave even though Its been tough economically at times. The good definitely outweighs the bad here. It all depends on your attitude and how flexible you are. People get worked up here about normal things that happen in all countries, because they care more about what happens here and feel attached to the place. But you have to stay for at least 2 years to decide. Welcome to the French.

You're the Agency BS peddler a snake oil salesmen or ignorant - I don't know were you dwell in last few years but Israelis are not the startup nation they're bragging about except in their imagination because their work ethics as a one of components required to become a one are not exactly they should be proud of. Also it would be prudent to check the definition of 'startup' and how many of those 'startups' survive 1 or 2 years later ,... Google "Israel, startup nation? not anymore, says Google study" and see for yourself what I'm talking about ,...
5. #4 To the self-employed BS Peddler
Benji ,   US   (07.07.15)
What work ethic are you referring to? Don't use yourself as an example. Being chronically unemployed is not exactly a window into a successful work ethic. The Israelis have nothing to learn from you. They're obviously doing something right. California and Israel are leading hi tech global centers. Start up companies evolve as technology evolves and many of these companies are so successful they're bought by larger companies in 1-2 years.
6. Can you wear a kippah in Israel?
Jerome ,   AKL   (07.08.15)
I remember making alliyah at 10 wearing a kippah. I was treated like a geek or a Yoram in Hebrew. Couldn't date girls and frankly I looked uncool. Once I threw the kippah away, I became one of the boys, got invited to parties and took on the dance floor. Kippah- It's like a kid with big spectacles hanging over his face.
7. Dentists: please make sure you get paid first
Jayjay ,   Paris   (07.10.15)
An advice to dentists Olim from France. Since there is no social security in Israel, make sure the money is in your bank account before fitting crowns and bridges . Forget about fancy temporary crowns. If they look too good Israelis won't come back for the permanent crowns. Beware of patients going to get the checkbook from their car. It is a ruse to leave without paying. High society carrying poodle dogs, are the worst. Poor people are generally slow to pay their dues, but they end up paying. I came, spent two years and left with a bag full of bounced cheques.
