1. OECD; Why only Israel is making the news
Jerome ,   AKL   (07.10.15)
My Mother went for a knee replacement in a Tel Aviv private hospital, 3 weeks from the moment she saw the surgeon and was up walking within 6 days. The bill was 16,000 Shekel or $4000. The Israeli national insurance paid 50% and she forked out $2000 from her own pocket. In New Zealand I had to wait 3 months to see a urologist and $9000 for a 45 minutes prostate biopsy. Easy to pick on Israel and ignore the rest of the OECD including Greece which is on the verge of bankruptcy.
2. Less medical intervention=longer life
