3. Lotan & Bibi
Marcelo ,   TLV   (07.10.15)
would they have apologize and meet the family if the news would not have been published?...Lotan & Bibi are the lowest...
4. Typical bully's behavior
Avi L.   (07.10.15)
Typical bully's behavior. They threaten someone considered weaker and when there is some reaction they back down pretending there was some kind of "misunderstanding" and try to turn tables around. What if the missing was from some influencial US family?
5. How could PM be blamed for "mental issues" ? I's family
ab   (07.10.15)
which had left him unsupervised,if the mental problems are true. On other hand,he exhibited high degree of determination and enterprise in finding way through he fence, hardly lack of mental abilities.
6. Confirmation.

"The jew crys out in pain as he slaps you in the face"
7. These 2 cases are not Israel's business
Moshe ,   Israel   (07.10.15)
It is their families' fault that they are in captivity. A mentally ill person should be sent to a proper hospital. If his household does not want to do it, they shouldn't let him wander alone, knowing the risks of such conduct. Thus, the people of the state don't have to pay for their negligence. Another related issue : The Knesset should enact a law forbidding top Israeli ministers to meet families of Israeli captives, for 2 reasons : 1) The huge emotional pressure these ministers endure, which expresses itself in the high price the country pays, by the outrageous miscarriage of justice and an emotional hard blow to families of terror victims. 2) The visiting minister cannot meet yet the relatives of the future murdered citizens by these freed terrorists, as the experience has taught us.
8. Leftist lowlifes are poisoning the atmosphere as is their
(07.10.15)
declared goal. Of course State would like the whole thing to go away as quietly as possible, since unfortunately once you've given in to terror's blackmail you will have hard time stopping it from happening again. Now soon, we shall be hearing about "the son of all of us" the poor, disturbed guy. Again our own stupid, misguided "humanitarian values" will cost future Jewish lives at the hands of freed Arab terrorists.
9. enter the Tap Dancing Prime Minister...
Sally Forth ,   Israel   (07.10.15)
What foul dust is this?!
10. to TB blamers ... chill ... remember
just saying ,   Israel   (07.11.15)
"Kol Israel Aravim ze le ze" (all Israel is responsible one for the other)...and remember that in this case it also includes ALL non-Jewish citizens of Israel (G-d said so...look it up in the Tanach). So that yes, even if they are both "crazy fools" who crossed the border into Gaza, they are OUR crazy fools and we are 100% responsible for going in to get them and bring them home. So do me a favor...stop being self-righteous, supercilious blamers and get with the program!
11. Moshe @ 7 they are as much our business...
(07.11.15)
as the gambling, drug dealer Tannenbaum...if we went in to collect him...then we go in to collect these two. so do me a favor...sit down and be silent.
12. Ynet editor #2s comment is highly racist...
Jew-C ,   JewLandia (Israel)   (07.11.15)
the use of the expression "Cheeky *arky" * = the letter d is as offensive as if this person had written "Cushi Metnasey" therefore may I kindly request that you delete this comment because it contains a highly offensive racist slur. Thank you.
13. #11, only one slight difference
Danny   (07.11.15)
firstly, I don't think Israel should have done anything to rescue Tennenbaum nor Shalit - Shalit being more of a border case. The only argument for getting Tennenbaum released was trying to save Israeli secrets this scumbag somehow got exposed to. That said, after years in captivity he probably gave up all of them and Israel should have let Hizbollah keep him Cant go rescue every dick that openly endangers himself unnecessarily
14. # 10 Are you ready to sacrifice your life ?
Moshe ,   Israel   (07.11.15)
And being killed by one of the terrorists who may be released for the 2 Israeli captives, for the sake of a nice value written in Tanach ? Had one of your relatives murdered in the past by a Palestinian prisoners freed in a swap, you would not have professed such argument.
15. Pm visits home of missing man
Wendy ,   Scotland   (07.11.15)
I'm the last person to defend Israel BUT The two men went to Gaza of their own free will, in what other country does a pm go to a persons home to do damage control? It's unheard of! Granted, one of the men has a mental illness but in all fairness he chose to go, he had a bag with him so I think he probably knew what he was doing!
16. # 11 Tannenbaum affair was quite different
Moshe ,   Israel   (07.11.15)
It is true he was a drug dealer, but he was also a high-ranking IDF officer, who had done not little for his country. In addition, he knew sensitive military secrets, and Israel had to find out what of these secrets he revealed to his kidnappers.
17. Moshe, Moshe, Moshe., sigh, you forget we are Israelis....
just saying @10 ,   Israel   (07.11.15)
Clearly you need to see the teuda (certificate) which gives me the right to my opinion and which is the source of my human kindness, ok, fine, here's my teuda: 11 June 2003, Egged Bus 14 aleph, Davidka Square, Jerusalem That is the exact location of my relative at the time of their murder in a Hamas Terrorist attack. That is the exact location of where I received my own permanent injury. The Palestinian prisoner release which ended up with my relative being killed and me being injured was co-ordinated by Prime Minister Netanyahu - he released Sheik Ahmad Yassin in 1997. Did you want me to give you the full history lesson on Sheik Ahmad Yassin? Or can you manage to look that up on your own? Now do me a favor Moshe...in furture...NEVER EVER be so insensitive and ridiculous as to ask any Israeli the questions you ask in your post #14. Do you understand why? or do you need me to give you a lesson in emotional intelligence? Now all that said in closing I will repeat my post 10 in its entirety: "Kol Israel Aravim ze le ze" (all Israel is responsible one for the other)...and remember that in this case it also includes ALL non-Jewish citizens of Israel (G-d said so...look it up in the Tanach). So that yes, even if they are both "crazy fools" who crossed the border into Gaza, they are OUR crazy fools and we are 100% responsible for going in to get them and bring them home. So do me a favor...stop being self-righteous, supercilious blamers and get with the program!"
