Even before Obama was elected to his first term,many on this side of the pond including myself,after a decade of New Labour government misery,could see him for what he is,warned as hard as we could and had contempt and abuse thrown at us for our troubles and concern. assuming OB has his way - the deal - which he has already pushed through - and lets say something the nay sayers of the deal have predicted comes true (hundreds of possibilities). When creating policy or a plan planners have to look at different scenarios not just one. Each scenario has to be evaluated in terms of its impacts (positive or negative).
