2. The sanctions will not collpase
Iran's economy   (08.07.15)
Trade with Russia and China is not enough to sustain Iran's economy. US can lead the EU, Japan, S Korea, and probably India to tough sanctions against Iran. This will be enough to cause the collapse of the Iranian economy.
3. You know Obama hates you right?
sean ,   pasadena usa   (08.08.15)
Democrats value Muslim votes more than Jewish lives. Your uaefulness to them has expired. Also they HATE anyone who worships the Almighty.

5. WELL SAID
TEL EM STRAIGHT ,   SAFED HONESTY   (08.07.15)
As Mr Halevy rightly stated , Prime Minister Netanyahu is trying to emotionally blackmail american jews and trying to make them feel guilty. This iranian deal may not be perfect ,but the alternatives could be even worse ,or graver. In addition ,the powers of said US jewry are limited ,what could they realistically do?
6. Saving "Israel"?
graczek ,   Maryland, USA   (08.07.15)
The real task and imperative is to save and deliver the world FROM "Israel", the sooner, the better. Then there will be peace.

President Obama is too young to remember that no country objected to the annihilation of the millions of Jews who lived and were murdered in Europe before the Japanese Navy and Air Force attacked Pearl Harbor. The USA did not engage in hostilities against the Nazi war machine before the Day of Infamy. Israel was not a State during those horrific years. Hence, NO nation objected to the mass murders of Jewish civilians in more than a dozen countries. NONE. In 1967, before any square meter of Palestinian land was occupied by Israel, President Gamal Abdel Nasser recruited more than ten Arab nations to drive ALL the Israelis into the sea. Israel appealed to the diplomats of the United Nations. Israel’s appeal was NOT for military aid. No nation threatened to retaliate against the Arab Nations who threatened a war of annihilation. Israel took matters into its own hands and under the military leadership of Generals Dayan, Rabin, Sharon, Narkis , Hod and other heroes, repelled the imminent, ominous attack. The Palestinian territories were not liberated from Palestine. There was no Palestinian State then, or ever. The States of Egypt, Jordan and Syria occupied those areas and they silently thanked both Allah and the Sun God for having been relieved of that burden ofmillions of Palestinians. From that aspect, these Arab nations won the war of 1967. Mr. President: Please do not tell the world that Israel is the only nation on the earth that is concerned about Israel. If you wish, tell the Tutsis of Rawanda that no other nation was particularly concerned about regional violence. Here are quotes about that genocide. “This sparked the chillingly well-organized extermination of Tutsis by Hutu militias, Sexual violence against Tutsi women was also widespread, and the United Nations only conceded that "acts of genocide" had likely happened after an estimated half-million Rwandans had already been killed.” “During the approximate 100-day period from April 7 to mid-July 1994, an estimated 500,000–1,000,000 Rwandans were killed,[1] constituting as much as 70% of the Tutsi and 20% of Rwanda's total population. “ Mr. President: Like you, the United Nations and His Honor Mr. Kofi Anan were awarded the Nobel Prize for peace. They were thus honored shortly after the Rwandan genocide. May I quote BBC news. “The United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan has said he could and should have done more to stop the genocide in Rwanda 10 years ago. At a memorial conference at the UN, Mr Annan said he realized he personally could have done more to rally support for international efforts to stop it. ‘The international community is guilty of sins of omission,’ Mr Annan said. The genocide - in which some 800,000 people died - occurred when Mr Annan was head of UN peacekeeping forces. I believed at that time that I was doing my best," Kofi Annan said. "The UN Security Council failed to reinforce the small UN peacekeeping force in the country. The international community failed Rwanda and that must leave us always with a sense of bitter regret," Mr Annan said. Mr. HaLevy: You are an intelligent man who heroically served the Jewish People in varied capacities for most of your life. Please do not allow personal or political prejudices to distort your view regarding the jeopardy that a nuclear Iran poses to Israel. No nuclear power has articulated and repeated its aspiration and desire to eradicate Israel or any other nation the way Iran does as often as observant Moslems pray. Kindly consider the consequences of a man of your own stellar service, past and reputation telling American Jews to ignore the plight of more than 5 million Jews who, together with you and your loved ones, wish to continue building and living in the Jewish Homeland:Israel. Please. In conclusion I write: Obama: Everyone but Israel supports Iran deal. cm
8. #2 - More delusions
spyguy ,   seattle usa   (08.08.15)
Asia and Russia are almost half the total global population and China has a fast growing middle class. Iran can do just fine trading with Asia and Russia. As for the USA pressuring Europe - that is NOT going to happen. Note that Japan, South Korea, India and most of the rest of the world have already ignored the USA congress critters and trade with Iran. The USA has NO CAPABILITY of controlling the rest of the world and with the Chinese trade bank coming on-line, anyone that wants to have financial transactions with Iran without the USDA knowing can easily do so. The USA has noway of stopping transactions through the Chinese bank, NONE. The non-USA sanctions are GONE and will NOT return. Even the USA sanction are tenuous at best because USA companies will be very unhappy about losing a 80 million person market to Europe and China. Why is it so hard for people to realize that the USA can control any other country?
9. Choosing
Eaglebeak ,   Left Coast, USA   (08.09.15)
Op-ed: It would be a historic mistake to push US Jews into a corner, and force them to choose between the trust and respect they have for their president, and answering the cry for help coming from Jerusalem. What trust and respect? Like I'm going to trust and respect the guy that helped Eric Holder run guns to Mexican drug lords?
10. good points about BB's cynical attempt to manipulate US Jews
Rafi ,   US   (08.08.15)
that's the only game BB knows: it there is a straight vs. a twisted path to the same goal, you always know which BB will choose... Primary reason he is so distrusted worldwide. He is doing Israel NO GOOD. When will dumb, narrow-minded Israelis ever wake up to that FACT ??
11. The Author is WRONG
Bob G ,   USA   (08.09.15)
When Iran chants Death to Israel and Death to America and has attacked Israel almost Daily thru Hamas and Hezbollah plus killed American Marines in Lebanon, Iraq, Afghanistan and other countries around the World and has thanked Allah that all the Jews are concentrated in Israel where they can be Wiped out with one Atomic Bomb only Obama, a person who wasn't alive during WWII and probably never studied it would say "they don't really mean it - their just kidding! Was Hitler Kidding? Too many Fools thought he was. Result 6 Million Jews Dead. What Iran calls A Good Start.
12. The evil Iran deal endangers Israel and America
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.10.15)
The author is dangerously, moronically wrong. The evil Iran deal endangers both Israel and America. Though Israel is endangered more immediately. American Jews, and all good Americans, have a duty to strongly oppose this abomination.
13. So STUPIDGUY wants to let Iran go nuclear? Then what? Kaboom
