Lapid is out of touch with reality his dream to become Prime Minister blinds him as to the harsh realty and hard choices that will be needed to be made. Having new elections is not in the interest of the country . The country needs to be united. Any politician who does not realize that unity is needed more than ever. Well, he/she is not a leader. Israel needs leaders not politicians. Israel already has thousands of politicians.

Whilst its doubtful Lapid can beat Netanyahu the worrying thing is what happens if Netanyahu does run again. Likud have had Netanyahu for so long they have not groomed any potential leaders that appeal to both the right and centre the way Netanyahu does. The current stars are from the nationalist right and they do not appeal to the centre ground and if they don't like Likud they will vote Lapid or Labor.
