We enjoy similar stories here in the US of our troops rescuing frightened cats [and dogs] from strife. Animals are innocent of all sin: they deserve unbounded love, and shelter from the follies of mankind. Warm purrs to Matan and to all who open their hearts to G-d's creatures.

Is there a rampant disease that I don't know about that has taken over the Israelis minds and hearts !? They went there, the soldiers, killed human beings; men, women, children and new born babies and little tiny infants, bombed hospitals , mosques, and ambulances, but yet had the good heart and soul of saving two little kittens!? Sounds like their hearts and minds in the right place!

No doubt we can expect a Palestinian complaint to the UN and the ICC that the kittens were kidnapped.

Thank you YNet for this article. Have just bought the book for my 6 y.o. grandchildren.
Well said Yosef Shomron (fb)! I am secular, so I would say the same thing w/o the insertion of God or Torah, but the idea remains the same.
The goodness of simple people, the need to save the kittens are the proof of Israeli morality.
