I could understand going to Antalya if Israelis had never seen the Mediterranean or if it was difficult to find a seaside resort with a large pool. The reasons are partly due to the lower cost compared to Eilat & also just being able to feel accepted vacationing in a Muslim country. If the desire is to get on an airplane and go to another country, many similar resorts can be found in Greece, Cyprus, Spain & Bulgaria. Also these all-inclusive resorts rob the children of a different cultural experience being isolated in the resort.
