The original card (as presented on other websites) was issued by DNB in the name of a certain Mr Alexander Joseph Beckett, and features a mirror version of the same picture. This one is a meme intended to amuse people. Hoax or not, the idea apparently has caught on...

Other sites show what appears to be a real card, attached to the mail from the correct bank, with the number covered up but with the real name of the client, who complained. You can find this on facebook very easily or in other news sites. As for this being an "error", oh please. I am sure someone at the bank, perhaps one of our Muslim friends, got a very good laugh out of this.

You have to admit. The imagery is so overboard classic.

Maybe the bank is not responsible but the fact that a Norwegian guy had this sick idea tells a lot about how pervasive antisemitism is in Norway.

Years ago, I came to an Air France office near TLV to change my ticket; when I entered into the office , I listened to two French women making jokes about Jews - I understand some French very well, It's close to my native language - so, they felt embarrassed and talked to each other, just to let me hear: "we are talking about orthodox Jews... not all Jews".
