From the article the MK in question is from Bayit Hayehudi, which is a right wing party. This isnt an issue of right or left but an issue of what is right for those who are full members of a democratic Israeli society. They die for their country, they should have access to the basic necessities.
2. druze without electricty

what in heaven's name is going on here? does the government lack funds, the electric company workers and equipment, the idf the clout, and the knesset the desire to make sure the israeli druse communities who have supported and defended our country get a proper decent infrastructure and treatment from our national organizations? this is not far short of scandalous!
3. Something is dissonant here: are the Druze doing us a favor
(09.02.15)
by NOT joining Arab terrorists?! As if they should've been doing just that, but because of some magnanimous sentiment chose to serve their country??? That's one aspect. The other is : of course they should be treated EXACTLY like every Israeli community regardless of being Ashkenazi, Mizrahi or Druze! This makes no sense. Are they even aware of what they're saying?
4. Israeli Public Suspects Druze Loyalty
TheDruseLoyalty? ,   Jerusalem Israel   (09.02.15)
From time to time we the public see the Druse not only threaten us with their loyalty but with violent acts such as in Pekiin and the forest fire on Mount Carmel the start of the first Intifada actually began with the Druse in Beit Jann burning police cars and hitting police with iron chains because they couldn't build an illegal road through a Nature Reserve ! Acts like these now only harden the hearts of many Israeli Jews to the Druse many of whom are loyal to Assad and anti Israel Either they are with us or we should count them among the Arab Palestinian population they cant continue to play this threat game

No electricity and limited acess to runing water, wow...blown away. There got to be deeper more complex offsetting barriers to why this is the case. It is infrastructure, once in place and serviced... it it lights on. Are some of these communities in contested golan areas where the result of putting in the infrastructure HAD the outcome of giving Syria govt oversight claims of Israel laying sovereignty on '74 red lines...and/or Do any of these communities reside in environs where it is doubly benificial to reduce the ambient light polution as much as possible. Either way it sounds like... The Druze community has been living without modern convience of electrity for some time, it can't just be coastal israel does not give a flying f'k. Maybe it is more of old status quo's needing to be push aside because what the community accepted a long time ago as a way of life...this generation will want to find solutions to. That is the kinda of acknowledgement these soldiers should accept to keep their awards.
