1. portman and movie stars

I fail to understand why the world gives so much credence to the opinions of movie stars. Esp in this case where she is married to a non-Jew, does not live here and even though born in Jerusalem her Hebrew sucks. In reality those 'stars' from Hollywood etc. are usually the most flaky of all in their opinions despite many of them being highly educated and in Portman's case she attended Harvard. As far as the academic point above the only conclusion to be drawn is that the ability to think has nothing to do with 'higher' education but on the contrary stifles one's mental improvision.

bromides. Amos Oz is a self-serving Jew of the narcissistic, politically correct kind, starved for world's acceptance, so is the un-ending Shimon Perski. You seem to be headed in the same direction. Reconsider. It's not too late! You'll still make good films & get employment.

Vile, stupid comments even from alleged citizens of Israel. Honor those who still support Israel because there are all too few of them. As someone born and raised in Israel (and maintains an Israeli residence) I can tell you that hate will not help the State. Bravo, Natalie!

Difficult to tell the difference, granted.

The animus and hatred in comments, a few by left obvious wing trolls, but mostly by messianic Jewish nationalists who have long since abandoned rational zionism is a chilul hashem of the greatest proportions. It needs to stop before it leads to even greater levels of fratricidal and inter-group violence than we have begun to see.
