1. At least relieve the suffering .
Zechariah   (09.09.15)
Israel can at least relieve the suffering by allowing them into Judea and Samaria . They hate ISIS extreme Islam and Ba'ath that is Fatah and some are Christian. The Jews will always have to be the Security that is the survival. Its a uncertain result its true but one hundred thousand over ten years is not so many and after stringent security screens. For Judaism is principally an Internationalistic humanitarian religion now but with Post Shoah a extreme commitment to Israels security within extremely defensible borders and with the option of Deterrant preemptive strikes .
2. Hendel is absolutely right
Berk ,   Amsterdam   (09.09.15)
Only take in refugees if they are not a demographic threat, nor a religious and cultural threat. One cannot save the whole world. Besides there is a serious housing problem. Also locals are waiting for social housing and they get angry when migrants get priority. The dutch government is considering placing migrants in empty office buildings, but this cannot be a long term solution. In the meantime our governments ignore discussions about the integration, as if we are so naive to think no migrant will cause problems. And what about our social welfare? Will it collapse? 70% of our Somali migrants for example live on welfare and this will never change for obvious reasons.

5. Why so many immigrants now???
Rosie   (09.10.15)
They are not only from Syria, they are from all over the Middle East. There is a reason why now and why not going to their Muslim brothers in Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, etc. ISIS place a call in their lands to go on the mission of "Hijrah" which is a Jihad by immigration. They want to populate non-Muslim lands and take over. Spread Islam. In addition, the ISIS terrorist are being shipped in with the so called immigrants and they come without any IDs and more disguises so that they cannot be identified.

How many Native Americans and African Americans did your Country and relatives murder and are still murdering to this day. How many countries did your country with your relatives invade with collateral damage.Lets see how your country you and your relatives. deal with local Islamic terrorism when you had enough. That will be a showcase in Genocide.
8. #3 You think the US entered WW2 to save jewish lives.
DOV ,   USA   (09.10.15)
My family fought the NAZIS on the Russian front. My father who spent 2 years as a partizan and 3 years in the Russian army never taught me to hate german people because of their nationality. It is our duty to help the victims of war to the best of our capacity regardless where they come from. We must do what we can with intelligence and conviction.

I couldnt care less about the Syrians, I care about the Israelis and the Jews and those who have not been evil on the Jews in the past
12. #3
k ,   US   (09.10.15)
My relatives fought the Nazis to help the British and to help those who were not on the front lines, the Jews were on the front lines and the world especially the Americans did not care, and I am an American tax payer and helping Israel is the only thing I am happy my taxes are going towards, and if I couldn't care less about others it is because those otheres were cold to me and my ancestors in the past
13. Israel's duty
Fred Willis ,   Chicago USA   (09.10.15)
It would not hurt Israel to allow in 1000 Syrian refugees. And if you are worried about Israel being Jewish, why is it that most Israelis don't care to go to shul?

The same kind of arguments prevented the acceptance of fleeing Jews prior to WW2 Nobody wanted filthy ghetto Jews who refused to shake women's hands.

Your comment tells me two things. The first is that you know nothing about history. The second is that you know nothing about Israel.
17. We have done our share and then some
Gee ,   Zikron Yaakov   (09.10.15)
Nearly one million people from Arab regimes came to Israel as refugees and were made citizens. That is a huge percentage of the country. Meanwhile nearly no Arab countries are taking in or providing any sort of aid to the refugees and none whatsoever from all the non-Arab Muslim regimes. They never aid anybody, but they are more than willing to fund terrorism and wars.
18. #9 you're an idiot

19. Risk
Tom ,   New York   (09.11.15)
America didn't risk anything to help Jews . The US declared war on Japan after they bombed Pearl Harbor ; it was Hitler that declared war on the US . No concentration camps were bombed , Aushwitz was liberated by the Red Army, the US army stumbled onto concentration camps and did't deliberately set out to liberate camps. While Truman supported the creation of Israel , he slapped an arms embargo on Israel which stood for 20 years. Israel has treated several thousand Syrians , do you see American army doctors helping Syrians .
20. Saudi Arabia

Why don't Syria , the United Emirates , Kuwait etc help the Syrians ?
21. Germany & Refugees
Morty Mooze ,   Montreal, Canada   (09.11.15)
Is it that the guilt of the Holocaust still hangs over the heads of Germans? They may feel that there are SIX MILLION places to be filled with generous benefits to these refugees. Are they making amends from being anti-Semites 75 years ago to pro-Semitic, today, with these other Semites?
22. The delicious irony of seeing the Germans being
Al   (09.13.15)
swamped with Arabs is one I cherish. Lets get it thru our heads. The Germans were never friends of the Jews nor will they ever be. Germany had to agree to compensate the Jews after WWII because that was a condition of the Marshall Plan. Those 'conditions' allowed the sheltering of known Nazis by the Americans. Those are the facts. Germany is a curse and deserves to be swamped with the Arabs. The plight of the Arabs is the fault of the Arabs. Israel has been at war since day one (from the 1800's) with the Arabs because the Arabs have never accepted the fact that the Jews are in Israel. Those are the facts. The arabs kill each other with wanton abandon and yet there are those among us who shed tears. When you are kind to the cruel, you end up being cruel to the kind. Israel was founded by those who sought shelter as Jews from the wickedness of the world. It was not founded and it is not being defended 24/7 in order to be a shelter for the worlds homeless and misplaced. It is the home of the Jews. The Arab world is rich enough, large enough to shelter their own. The fact that they choose not to do that tells me they couldn't care less.
