Only take in refugees if they are not a demographic threat, nor a religious and cultural threat. One cannot save the whole world. Besides there is a serious housing problem. My family fought the NAZIS on the Russian front. My father who spent 2 years as a partizan and 3 years in the Russian army never taught me to hate german people because of their nationality. Nearly one million people from Arab regimes came to Israel as refugees and were made citizens. That is a huge percentage of the country. Meanwhile nearly no Arab countries are taking in or providing any sort of aid to the refugees and none whatsoever from all the non-Arab Muslim regimes. They never aid anybody, but they are more than willing to fund terrorism and wars.

America didn't risk anything to help Jews . The US declared war on Japan after they bombed Pearl Harbor ; it was Hitler that declared war on the US . No concentration camps were bombed , Aushwitz was liberated by the Red Army, the US army stumbled onto concentration camps and did't deliberately set out to liberate camps. While Truman supported the creation of Israel , he slapped an arms embargo on Israel which stood for 20 years.
