A whistleblower exposes something illegal going on, a traitor exposes a country's secrets. This man is not a whistleblower, he is a traitor.
No wonder he wants to leave the country- everyone who sees him wants to spit at him.
But then again, Obama declassified and released a top secret report describing Israel's nuclear program in detail while it kept sections of the report on Italy, France, and West Germany secret.
That makes Obama a traitor to Israel as well.

Vanunu was looking for his fifteen minutes of fame and it cost him eighteen years in prison and the respect of almost every Israeli. Obama released the document to get revenge on Bibi. So while misguided Vanunu thought he was doing something good for the country, Obama KNEW he was hurting Israel as a country and Netanyahu as a person. I have no respect for Vanunu, he's just an idiot; but Obama hurt Israel on purpose to get even with Bibi.
Now if he'd spill the beans on Israel to get even with Bibi, whose to say what he really gave away for this deal with Iran???

They are both traitors that should be imprisoned for life, however the US should lobby the Israeli government to release Vanunu based on humanitarian grounds just like they make the traitor " American" citizen Pollard a folk hero.

Funny how Israeli's view Vanunu as a traitor but view Jonathan Pollard who stole a truckful of top secret data tried to sell it to Russia and then sold it to Israel as a hero. The damage Pollard did far outweighs any damage Vananu did. Vanunu was a troubled person whereas Pollard knew exactly what he was doing when he betrayed America and he deserved to spend the past thirty years in prison.
