1. "80% of Israelis disapprove of religion-state relationship"
Howard K. ,   Israel   (09.12.15)
Israel's population on eve of Rosh Hashana: 8.4 million. Number of respondents queried in this survey: 840 This means polling 0.01% of Israel's population is considered a representative sample of the adult Jewish population in Israel, making this poll a a valid, scientific survey. Did the pollsters think no one would catch this? What was that old saw about three types of lies...?

3. That sounds as a very clear majority
Avi L.   (09.17.15)
That sounds as a very clear majority, so how comes that a handful of (ultra)orthodox get to command all that state/our cash and get to decide what is proper for the whole nation? Excepted that they help prop a motley coalition up, a coalition made of scattered minorities grasping as much public money as possible?
4. Majority of Germans didn't care about gassing of Jews: did
(09.18.15)
they do anything about it?!
5. to 1 - it's called statistics
Avi L.   (09.20.15)
It's called statistics and it work. Whatever the size of the sample, if it's random it is representative of the population (universe). Adding more interviewees would only reduce the confidence interval. When you talk about such results as 80 percent ... maybe it's gonna be 75 percent, but i the end it won't change the fact that a vast majority "of Israelis disapprove of religion-state relationship". How many voted for religious parties? Around 20 percent? Do the maths.
