Mr. Ariel Sharon used the forced Katif disengagement to stay out of prison. Mr. Ehud Olmert was convicted of a felony and he has enough friends in the prosecutor's office and the High Courts to stay out of prison. Mr.Tzachi Hanegbi was convicted of a felony and is in the Government, not in prison. Mr. Roni BarOn voted two votes in a Knesset vote, vehemently denied it until the video was publicized and he is neither in prison or blacklisted from Knesset. Let this be a lesson to all Nationalists who oppose surrendering land to our sworn enemies. The left takes care of its own and the left controls the prosecutor's office, the courts, radio brosdcasts and the press Mr Katzav went to prison. The great exception is the Right Honorable Avraham Hirschson.– The Israeli Minister of Finance between 2006 to 2007. In 2009. Hirschson was convicted of stealing close to 2 million shekels from the National Workers Labor Federation while he was its chairman. Hirschson was sentenced to five years and five months in prison and a fine of 450,000 shekels. His mistake was embezzling money marked for holocaust victims. That is still unforgivable even if you supported the Sharon/Olmert Disengagement plan. Yet . . . he was fined less than a quarter of the amount that he was proven to have stolen.
