Ynet at least reads comments and decides, according to a policy I don't fully understand -- in practice, not in theory -- whether or not to post them. On Facebook, however, it is apparently no holds barred, and people can be as vicious and personal as they like. Thus what should be a forum for an exchange of opinions has turned into a melting pot of hate speech. As a defender of free speech but not free slander, I would like to see the Facebook comments removed from Ynet. If people want to gross each other out on Facebook, the rest of us shouldn't have to suffer.
