mark   (10.18.15)
ben dror is saying the equivalent of .. don't lose hope, you can make peace with people who do not want 1 jew in tel aviv. \ev en after stabbings which equates with stabbibng israel, ben dror descends into pathetic madness. The international community will save the jews like theey did in world war ll. What a delusional weakling! Ben dror should be taken tot he nearest psychaitric hospital.
2. No Partner??
Zeev Raphael ,   Haifa   (10.18.15)
“The fact that there is currently no partner on the other side” – is surely an odd statement coming from an Israeli newspaperman,- after the World has been waiting for years, for an Israeli response to the Arab League Peace Initiative… Nobody is suggesting "to sign blindly on the dotted line"... But would not some official statement from our politicians, welcoming the Initiative,- have been appropriate?? Together with a proposal for a meeting to discuss details of the Initiative?
3. Israel you want a lasting peace?
BUILD BABY BUILD !!!   (10.18.15)
Get rid of every so called Arab pal immediately and never allow them to enter Jewish Israel again. They belong in Gaza, Jordan or hell not Israel.
4. We understand the "intl.community" all right! It's the likes
(10.18.15)
of Mr.Yemini that seem to struggle with the concept of never being able to eradicate the sick phenomenon of antisemitism...Peace with Arabs? Here, in ME of all places?! Are you for real? They'll take over the French in FRANCE for Pete's sake!
5. The article "Breaking the mold : .... "
Judah N. Wenkel ,   Helsingborg, Sweden   (10.18.15)
The fact IS, that P.M.Netanyahu has offered to start up negotiations for peace with Abbas, without preconditions.... -right away as soon as Abbas stops incitement to violence and stops this torrent /onslaught of terror violence we`ve seen in around all Israel, the streets of Israel since 2-3 months back now.
6. International.
Brad ,   USA   (10.18.15)
When you hear that word, run like the wind. The "international community" is the world, and it hates Israel. It is always sucking down to the Muslims, all of whom would just as soon slit their throats as look at them. So, to hell with what the "international community" thinks or says.
7. #3 - So you want the end of Israel ASAP?
spyguy ,   seattle usa   (10.18.15)
The REALITY is the millions of non-Jews living west of the Jordan river are **NOT** going anywhere and if Israel tries, the world will bring Israel to its knees. The USA will just "go to lunch" whenever Israel comes up in the UNSC. It will just not be in the building and the sanctions will pass14-0. Israel can not survive with out international trade. Within a few months, Israelis will be starving in the streets. If you want to see the end of Israel, then just keep up you nonsense of "getting rid" of the non-Jews.
8. reply
Joya   (10.18.15)
"Anyone who belittles the role or the importance of the international community does not understand the world we currently live in." Of course, thanks to the International community palestinians have UN status of permanent observer state. -Thanks to the International community two nuns were canonized as saints by Pope Francis at the Vatican....lol -thanks to the international community Palestine flag was raised at the united nations in new york. -thanks to the international community Palestinians are not a State but have embassies in foreign countries, and palestinians have a interim self government in the palestinian capital of Ramallah
9. Unfounded faith
Ron ,   Melbourne, Australia   (10.19.15)
1. Every time there is a concession the claim is that the International community will better understand Israel - Really !!!- do you remember the promises during withdrawal from Gaza - re one rocket from Gaza and the 'international community will understand' - Well that did not pan out so well. What about releasing prisoners (which other countries would not entertain ) as a gesture, etc, etc Even the last issue were clearly it is a religious call to arms solicit a whimper at best - or per US we can't point a finger and too much excessive force. 2. This blinkered International Community behavior is unique to Israel - e.g. Democratic, nonthreatening, Taiwan has no UN presence and virtually no recognized embassies in most democratic countries - while China, communist , mliltaristic , assiting numerous despotic regimes and with a very bad human rights record has no issues in democratic countries courting them. What about Iran where they all are jumping to deals - forget the bomb - Iran behavoiur to minorities, terrorism etc does not matter, What about the Rwanda Genocide which they all refuse to label for fear of having to act , etc ,etc, etc - WHICH INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY ARE YOU REFERRING TO ? OR AS NETENAYHU MIGHT ASK ARE WE LIVING ON THE SAME PLANET ?
10. #7. "Palestinians" leave by the10,000s right NOW!
Chaim ,   Israel   (10.19.15)
#7 Wimpguy. Give up your pathetic scare tactics. Today, right NOW, "Palestinians" are leaving Judea, Samaria and Gaza by the tens of thousands annually. They are definitely going somewhere... With a few carrot and sticks incentives, Israel could easily escalate the rate of "Palestinian" departure to hundreds of thousands annually. Good riddance!

12. #10 - More delusions
spyguy ,   seattle usa   (10.21.15)
Thousands is a mere drop in the bucket compared to MILLIONS. Exactly WHERE is Israel going to get the trillions of dollars to "incentivize" the non-Jews to leave? WHERE would these mythical migrants go? Note that no country on earth currently wants Syrian refugees. Long before Israel could get very many people forced out, Israel would get whacked hard by the rest of the world . and no matter how "powerful" you might think Israel is, in the REAL WORLD Israel has almost zero power. You delusion of ethnic cleansing the area west of the Jordan River will NEVER happen, so you had better either give up lots of land, water, cash for compensation and apologies for the last 60+ years of Israeli bad behavior or plan on having millions of new non-Jewish FULL citizens because those are the ONLY two real options you have. And the longer you cling to your delusions the worse it will be for you. You may not like what I write, but it is based on REALITY and 50000 years of human behavior - you can NOT win.
13. hope?
hopeless ,   ny, ny   (10.21.15)
neither people wants a two state solution; Palestinians at least have a clear goal: to provoke, undermine and ultimately expedite Israel's self-destruction, while at times paying lip service to "the two state solution," the Israelis really have no interest in it either, but they have everything to lose; under duress the may agree to it but only when their back is to the wall and by then it will be too late; it is unfortuate that the Palestinians have no other way to direct their rage, misery and frustration than by running around with knives, playing right into the hands of the Israeli right, but then perhaps that is their goal; we two people diserve each other...
