Citizens in Israel must be careful to not take the law into their own hands,but must defend themselves against terror attacks. The lynching in Beersheva was tragic and should not have happened. However ,I feel little sympathy for terrorists who have been " neutralized ." Unfortunately ,Israelis often have no other choice than to kill those who would kill them first . In the middle east , it is often kill or be killed. If Mr. Bergman whishes to be a sacrificial lamb ,a victim ,that is his choice ,but many israelis prefer not to be victims.

Some context is sorely needed here : Israel fights each and every day for its very survival. It is abused and lied about and attacked constantly. Being nice is not a good strategy.

It was certainly tragic that these people killed an innocent man, but we must understand the mindset of people who have been attacked by a terrorist. The security guard thought that he was a second terrorist and the people who were just in jeopardy of their lives were under a tremendous emotional strain and so attacked, beat and killed an innocent man. But to say there is a cover up? To say they are willful murders? That is going to far. It was an extreme tragic mistake.
