1. Since the UN & Kerry have no respect for Jewish Holy sites
Suya ,   Israel   (10.22.15)
Israel might as well tell Kerry once and for all that the Temple Mount is part of the Kotel and OUR Beit Hamikdash and is as Jewish as Kever Rachel (Rachel's Tomb) and Me'arat Hamachpelah (Cave of OUR Patriarchs) and the UN has no right to decide that they belong to Arabs.
2. Bound by the Gordian knot of their own words
US citizen ,   US   (10.22.15)
"...26 attackers... the remainder protestors...", "...national symbol for the Palestinians." and then there's "Burn them." and "...care nothing for peace..." and then there's "Occupied Plaestinian Territory." There will only be peace when the single minded One, who is more than mere human, sits enthroned on earth as He is in heaven.
3. BIBI TRAVELS MUCH TOO MUCH
(10.22.15)
his FM should be ab;e to do that job... as for Kerry... what a load!
4. thankfully bibi has only 61 seats
mark   (10.22.15)
if bibi agrees to peace talks naturally proposed by iran dealer kerry, uriel and bennett will take the governemnt down unless bibi wants to join herzog who wants to pull out from most of west bank and jordan valley and east jerusalem. This would mean that plo could arm to a greater degree and idf could not easily go and chase. So terror would increase exponentially. Nonetheless, bibi could submit to kerry because he is spent, done, and on his own cannot apply an iron fist whether iran, 3 arabs countries, the plo and hamas. You saw what he did in gaza, not much. \he subverted a good general yaalon to his strategy of calm for calm which is nothing, zero. Bibi was a good press spokesman. \why he would want to be pm when he knows he lacks internal courage is puzzling since he like olmert, livni and peres have been major disappointments. Iit's not really that they are not gifted in other areas. \for example peres could have been a teacher of jewish poetry, olmert could have been a decent courtroom criminal lawyer, livni might have been good at run a matchmaking operation, herzog is probably a good documents lawyer where he doesn't represent or have to talk to anybody, and lapid was a broadcaster. All of them are not fit to be pm leaders who have to be able to take hits and to give them out.\lapid might have been if he had done army combat duties because he is capable of fighting back as he has lambasted the british press. \but he is like peres, delusional in thinking peace can be had. It can only occur if jews move out of israel lock stock and barrel and move to \us or poland according to zohar of gaza. IN any case, if bibi agrees to peace talks with abbas, uriel and his faction at the least will leave the govt. \and isaelis will not entrust their security with herzog and livni so new elections will be held. and bennett wlll win the pm job which he should get a chance at.
5. Kerry is in dire need of a brain.
Brad ,   USA   (10.22.15)
6. That's not entirely true
Bill ,   Skokie U.S.A.   (10.22.15)
"Lies that Israel wants to change the status quo on the Temple Mount,"? Israel or should I say Jews and Christians all want the Temple to be rebuilt. To say otherwise is not truth. When Government officials visit with armed guards they are not coming as tourists, they are exercising authority and without words declaring authority! This is a sacred and holy place it should be open and shared by all whom God has created and love him. We love God by loving others. This is truth!
7. "We have to ..." says Kerry
Devorah   (10.22.15)
"We?" Kerry's involvement in Israeli affairs has never produced a positive outcome. The Quartet was useless, but Kerry takes that word to a new bottom level.
8. King Abdullah is responsible for this mess
Shep ,   Memphis   (10.22.15)
In 1967, Israel - General Moshe Dyan ALLOWED Jordan's King Abdullah to be responsible for the Al-Asque Mosque in order to mollify Muslim sensitivities after their humiliating defeat. There were a CLEAR SET OF ESTABLISHED PROTOCOLS regarding how the Temple Mount is policied by Jordan. They obviously have been breaking the status quo, not Israel.
9. Chief Rabbinate of Israel
John ,   Toronto   (10.22.15)
Israel has to pass a law to enforce the ruling of Israel's own Chief Rabbinate. The Chief Rabbinate's ruling says that "According to Torah Law, entering the Temple Mount area is strictly forbidden due to the holiness of the site." This has always been part of the status quo and it is being broken by settler extremists. If Israeli fundamentalist extremists (.01% of the population) will not obey religious law, make them obey a secular law. Stop the violence, pass the law
10. Cautiosly Optimistic-Oh boy , More terros to be released
Alan ,   SA   (10.22.15)
as a Kerry Konfidence &Kompassion deal. I feel it in my bones
11. Netanyahu bad for Israel, but time for the truth
Mark Jeffery Koch ,   Mount Laurel, NJ USA   (10.22.15)
Since the Six Day War when Israel united Jerusalem it has allowed free access to all religions to Jerusalem. Prior to the 1967 war Jews were not allowed to pray at their holiest site and Jewish cemetaries were routinely desecrated. Despite what one may think of the Netanyahu government, and I am a Jew who strongly opposes the current government in Israel, access for Muslims to their holiest sites have not been curtailed. Left wing media in America concentrate on the settlers and Netanyahu and try and apply a broad brushstroke to the people of Israel as being racist oppressors of the Palestinians. During the current outbreak of violence Palestinian media has broadcast messages to their people on a continual basis that Jews are taking over and destroying the Al Aqsa Mosque, the third most holy site in Islam. There could be nothing further from the truth. Palestinian media never speaks about a two State solution. It calls for the destruction of Israel and the murder of Jews. Palestinians name streets in honor of terrorists who walked into schools, supermarkets, and on busses and murdered hundreds of Israelis. Critics of Israel need to visit Israel before they make false allegations. Yes, the occupation is far from benign, but the average Israeli wants a two state solution, and Israeli newspapers, radio, and the Internet have never called for the murder of Palestinians. Israel names its streets after Nobel prize winners, authors, poets, and scientists, not murderers.
12. Jon #9 Supreme Court ruled Jews allowed to go up.
Someone   (10.22.15)
So you speak of secular law without even knowing the law. Firstly most religious leaders say that MOST of the Temple Mount is not forbidden. Jews prayed on the Temple Mount just a few hundred years ago. Secondly who cares what a Rabbi says this is about freedom of movement and equality. It is sad that the so called Progressive World (another word for fascist today) refuse equality when it doesn't suit their agenda. This has nothing to do with Prayer but the fact that as an atheist Jew I can't go up to the Temple Mount because my mother is Jewish. THIS IS THE DEFINITION OF ANTISEMITISM. Another fact lost by most is that their intentions, words and actions have nothing to do with political conflict. This is purely religious as Islam considers all previous Muslim controlled land theirs forever. Your claim of "extremist settlers" is just another liable as most who want to go up to the Temple Mount have nothing to do with this group.
13. Amin Huseini was definitely inciting to the Holocaust
C   (10.22.15)
amin husseini was close freinds with several top nazi leaders, including himmler, eichmann, otto skorzeny. husseini established an all muslim ss brigade which fought alongside german ss units. husseini did tell hitler not to allow jews into palestine. he did declare that he would exterminate the jews in all arab lands. during the nuremberg trials, dieter wisliceny, adolf eichmann's deputy, testified during his trial that husseini was "one of the initiators of the systematic extermination of european jewry and had been a colloborator and advisor of eichman and himmler in the execution of the plan...he was one of eichmann's best friends and had constantly incited him to accelerate the extermination measures." after the war, amin husseini and otto skorzeny were part of the odessa group helping top nazis escape from europe. many nazis were helped to settle in arab countries. nasser used nazis as military advisors. other nazis settled in syria and iraq. the baath parties as well as hezbollah are structured along the lines of the nazi party. hamas uses the protocols of the elders of zion as part of its charter.
