israelis did not sign a pact with you, noa. rabin was a great general and a great patriot. however, the oslo accords, in which i believed myself, turned out to be a catastrophe for israel. the arabs are waging a religious war against us and will not even let us pray on the temple mount. the nations of the world are conspiring against us and are siding with murderers of our children. all around israel are savage terrorists who slaughter their own children. rabin could not have prevented this--neither sharon or begin or ben gurion. we are witnessing a world catastrophe, one which once again threatens our existence. we shall prevail, even against the nations, but peace will require a vanquished enemy.

Rabin ignored the right and called them nasty names, he ignored their fears, he ignored they views. This is not a justification for his murder, there is none, but he brought a new divisiveness to Israeli politics that was based on hatred of the right that is with us today. What is needed now in Israeli politics is RESPECT. Both sides can have their opinions, but at least show respect for the opposing side. Listen to what they have to say, and they should listen to you. Rabin had his good points and his bad points. He was not a deity and we shouldn't allow him to be painted that way. We still need a REAL investigation into Rabin's murder.
