ALBERTO EINSTEIN ,   SAFED GENIUS   (10.28.15)
Rather than waste precious resources and dispose of these excellent Tanksm they have been recycled .
2. Good news..
Beary White ,   Norway   (10.28.15)
I have always been concerned about servicemen in unprotected /light protected vehicles. Very good re-use of valuable equipment.
3. Newish APC BTDT
Arik ,   Eilot   (10.28.15)
How isn't this the Namer?
4. Put 4 regular wheels on them& they'll be ideal for roads:-)

5. #3 Namers are Merkava 1's, not 2's.
Eddie Netanyahu ,   Toronto, Canada   (10.28.15)
This is a new APC built on the 2's chassis. It will definitely resemble the Namer.

They got them for free, for ... guess ... for 'not retaliating' for scud 'shower' ,...
7. This is a Downgraded namer
Zionist forever   (10.29.15)
The new Namer is pretty much the same thing but on s Merkva 4 chassis with better armour. This is a basically a downgraded Namer and as the IDF is only planning to buy hundreds of Namers this is a good idea considering the M113 and T55 tank conversion are useless.

The Namer is based on a Merkava 4 hull, it's a completely new APC that provide maximum protection. This one is basically a low budget Namer because it's the same basic machine but armour and engine that's not quite as good as the Namer. Not a bad idea though, time for the IDF to get rid of all their old M113 and converted T55 tanks captured from Egypt in 1967
