1. Finish the fight first.
Joe Bliksem ,   Ra'anana, Israel   (11.03.15)
Although it is difficult for the family, the correct thing to do is to neutralize the terrorist and then take care of the wounded.....just like on the battlefield. Help arrived within a minute and a half so it's not like she was forgotten about.
2. Yishai in FB section: What!?
Israela ,   Israel   (11.03.15)
you people want it both ways you want Jewish victims to receive medical treatment first but you yourselves encourage mob mentality with your "Mavet L'Aravim" (Death to Arabs) chanting. Here is a clear and true picture of what your ways have brought to Israel...and you have the unmitigated gall to write the trash you wrote above?! Rest it. Because none of us is willing to put up with your insults to our intelligence anymore. Face the fact that you are part of the problem and if you are willing to work with us fine. if not go slide down your rat hole.
3. Terror
jez ,   netanya   (11.03.15)
Firstly I hope your grandmother makes a full and speedy recovery and that your family indeed manages to take this blow it in its stride. Benjamin Bitachon rules OK. Its us who are wrong - what we have is security. He said only he could secure us the Israeli public. So you (and I) must be wrong - only he is right.
4. Abbas will name a street after his warrior who stabbed bobba
Alan ,   SA   (11.03.15)
I extend refuah shleima to bobba-but feel it was absolutely important to stop the Abbas warrior as he would for sure stabbed another very shortly after. You people did the right thing
5. Stabbing an 80 year old or

dropping a missile on a Palestinian school or shelling kids on a beach whats the difference.
6. What is the Eisenkott family raging about?
Cameron ,   USA   (11.03.15)
How could passerby help just stabbed Granny? Overriding priority was to corner & do a no. on the fanatic running buck wild down the street.
7. help
mosahe   (11.03.15)
There is very little a person can do if they are not qualified in first aid. I am sure all the people which did not help your grandmother were not doctors or paramedics. Instead they did whatever they could for the situation and bravely stopped him injuring/killing others. Lets not put the blame on the prime minister but rather on these barbaric terrorists!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
8. @ Susan H Sachs in FB section...
Sally Forth ,   Israel   (11.03.15)
MDA put out a campaign on what to do after a knifing attack. Please do go to the MDA page and have a look -- they even posted it in English!
9. #5 More self-destructive Pal crimes
Benji ,   US   (11.03.15)
Hamas launched rockets from schools making them targets. The area shelled on the Gaza beach was used by Hamas Naval Commandos to commit war against Israel making the area a legitimate target area. Stabbing Israelis is just another act of terror by the Palestinian death cult. But you already knew that.
10. @Cameron clearly you have never been injured or had a loved
israel ,   Israel   (11.03.15)
one injured. I am not a medical professional but I do know that: even if I can't help, I can talk to the person - that is a huge help. My granny's life was saved in part because when she fell someone just talked to her, comforted her and waited until the ambulance arrived. That was a big help...my granny said that she just stayed focused on the voice and the soft words and that kept her holding on. and no carrying out a lynch is NOT a priority.
11. @7 Prime Minister Mr. Netanyahu is responsible!
(11.03.15)
If you don't want to blame him fine....but at least recognize that he is responsible for the situation in the region.
12. on the contrary, #10
Cameron ,   USA   (11.04.15)
Been there & then some. Given the extreme urgency of that grim scenario, those who took after that SOB are not to be condemned. End the threat, then tend the wounded. Granny understands this.
13. Perhaps more people take MMA classes than First Aide
Rivkah   (11.04.15)
classes and did what they had expertise in, perhaps some with concealed carry weapons to prevent any more attacks from that stabber. So for those MMA and concealed carry people who ran past stabbed Grandma, what you do in first aide is to apply pressure to the wound to stop the bleeding, a t-shirt will do, until more expert help arrives. In France, not stopping to help someone who is critically injured or in distress is a crime under Napoleonic law. The least someone could have done was to call 911 or Mogen David Adom to come help, if 911 is the police emergency line in Israel.
14. A question of priority
