1. American Jews responsibility
Nadya ,   California, USA   (11.10.15)
Why is it the responsibility of American Jews to answer and cover for Israel's mistakes and the right wing government they voted for? Let Israel answer for itself. Americans find less and less common ground and shared values with your right wing government.
2. US support of IL depends on the right.
JVC ,   LA, USA   (11.10.15)
US support of Israel will increasingly depend on the Right. While urban/suburban sprawl in the West favors social liberalism, the 2014 mid-term election results suggest there is more in play than we understand. BDS, US State Department refusal to recognize J'lem as Israel's capital, "Palestinian" sympathies, silence in the face of Islamic obscenity... all of that comes out of Leftist ideology, the same avant guard ideology that informs up and coming Democratic operatives. Israel had alliances before America showed up in '68 and she needs to remember that. Obama had to pivot to Israel once he got learned up on who his real allies are. And we owe that to Mr. Putin and Iran. It is inevitable that resource pressure, exponential human population growth and increasing political instability will find its way to Western society. When that happens, charity will be in short supply and I expect that the post-60's, liberal bong-hit of a cultural will finally collapse, to be resurrected by those who understand that the State of Man is not the socialist state but rather the struggle for survival and prosperity governed by the aggressive use of force. Just as it always has been.
3. Instead of building bridges of sigh to nowhere, they'd better
(11.10.15)
realize, that the countdown has begun. Now it's only a question of WHEN will they have to run& hide, like their European brethren did 75 years ago. So if I were them, I'd literally BUILD a future here in the Zion. It is here we'll have to make the Last Stand!
4. US Jews = Assimilating, intermarrying irrelevants
Tomer ,   Tel Aviv   (11.10.15)
The kind of US Jews who vote Democratic show low marriage rates, high intermarriage & imploding birthrates. In another generation all that will remain will be a hard core of Haredim.
5. Completely Different Threats
Zechariah   (11.10.15)
Most Jews in the Democratic Party in high positions are wealthy also in the cabinet . I don't think Yaalon is particularly wealthy Barak is but certainly not Amir Peretz railroaded into Defense when Socioeconomic was his area. The threats are different but not as wide as the Martyred Jews of Europe 1933-1945 . Most of USA Jewry was deeply distressed the Jewish Democratic leadership utterly Shameful and from 1933 .
6. Jews should decamp to the Republicans
Chaim ,   Israel   (11.10.15)
The Democrat Party is hopeless. There is no sane reason for Jews, or anyone else, to support it. It is on the wrong side of every crucial moral, common sense and economic issue. Jews should decamp to the Republicans. Obama is not the only problem with the Democrats. He is a symptom of a much deeper problem. The Democrats who want to replace him are practically as lawless, corrupt and awful as he is.
7. That is not their Mission given by HASHEM !.
Arn. ,   Sweden.   (11.10.15)
Their task is to come Home and build Israel. Arn.Sweden.
8. Flow in argument
Carol ,   NYC   (11.10.15)
Obama didn't move the democrats to the left. An already shifted base elected Obama against Hillary then, precisely because they hated Hillary's hawkish stance. We know the neocons have cornered both sides for 2016, but we intend to make the next one a one term president. I would've hoped your experts were better skilled analysts.
9. The same community
Avi ,   Nyc   (11.10.15)
Of the US that was deafeningly silent during the Shoah? The better community perished
10. There is a rift between Jews.
Rich ,   Toronto, Canada   (11.12.15)
