The guy should have a look at his own country before talking about "occupation, segregation and violence". Favelas occupied by police turned criminals (milicias), favelas filled up by segregated colored and the overall violence of the country with 50 000 murders by year and police killing a few thousands per year too. Without taking in consideration a half million of children victims of child labor and a few thousands of slaves working in agriculture. It's a widespread practice to clean one's own conscience on other people or country and thus feel lily white and rightful. Would be interesting someone going to Brazil and having a critical look at it.

After having lived in Hollywood for too many years I have the miserable opportunity to have met too many of these normally disgusting creeps. Actors and Musicians on the whole do not read history books, their heads and hearts are in the media. Since they do not do research they believe the little they read in the news. What can be seen here in Israel, where I now live, is soldiers checking Arabs from the west bank who wish to enter Israel. This is for our protection since they are trying to kill us. However it looks like we are segregating them. We would rather live with them in peace, but they want us dead and gone. If a musician and actor would actually take time to read the Koran he might realize that the religion of Islam is against Jews being in control of Arabs and what they see as their land. But like this and many other point that are too detailed to go into the last person to believe about news is a musician or actor.

Who he is: Probably the biggest name in Classical Brazilian Popular Music, Bossa Nova and Tropicalia, 9 times Latin Grammy Award winner, twice Grammy Award Winner, very talented in his genre of music; NOW who he isn't: he is NOT well versed in World Politics and should educate himself a lot more about the complex situation in the Middle East before forming an opinion. Having said all that, he clearly will not be missed here and quite frankly, he has not been that relevant in Latin America for at least 15 years.
