Or - living in the Diaspora and dying in the jewish Homeland - which appears, sadly, to be nearer the truth.

BUILD BABY BUILD !!!   (11.19.15)
Without Judaism, a Jew becomes a Gentile. Can't have that. It's an affront to all that's Jewish! HURRY ISRAEL NEEDS MORE HOMES FOR MORE JEWS !!!

My mother in law lived in lviv lemberg till 1947. She was one of the few who survived in the jewish community, which numbered more than a hundred thousand before the war; That says it all, I guess
4. It was Lemberg Before WWI
RickD ,   USA   (11.20.15)
Yes the Jews called it Lemberg. That was the German and Yiddish name for it until the end of World War One. The Russkies called it L'vov and the Uke's call it L'viv. Its Jewish character is lost.
