The real enemy of the Israeli Left is the Israeli Left. They have gone to far in blanketly accepting 'liberalism' as being the bane for all and not realizing that its application has limitations. Liberalism has a place in giving democratic rights in voting, in working, in educational opportunities, but when it comes to dealing with our enemies who know how to con liberals and use them to disrupt our internal affairs, we must realize that liberalism has gone to far. So groups like Peace Now, Breaking the Silence, J Street, Amnesty, and a host of other very liberal groups only give our enemies support and are disruptive to bringing unity to our Israeli society.

Israel is the real enemy of the Israeli left. One must be both stupid and suicidal to be an Israeli leftist. Which is why virtually every intelligent Israeli has abandoned the left. The Israeli left constantly seeks chances to undermine and weaken Israel. Deep inside; Israeli leftists believe Israel has no right to exist. That is clear to every objective observer.

Yes there is an intelligent Israeli loving politician and his name is Yair Lapid, who has been wrongfully presented as left when he has always insisted that he is centrist, even veering slightly rightward. It's time to throw off the shackles of all this left-right enmity and opt for a party that represents honest politics (not one member has fallen under suspicion of corruption) and social awareness, as well as the security of the state. The country has been made sick and tired by the divisions created by current politicians who are only interested in themselves, have ignored the plight of the poor and the elderly, and whose corruption hits headlines almost every day. The only way to get change is to vote for it.

I believe it was Churchill who summed it up best on the subject, " When your young and not a liberal you have no heart when your older and are a liberal you have no soul.' Liberal has become a dirty word and with many reasons. First one being failure. look at obama. I rest my case.

The left is its own real enemy. They seem to fail to see the reality of today's on the ground actions. Arabs have no desire for peace and it takes two to make peace. The fact that we want peace will do us no good unless the Arabs realize it is in their best interest to pursue peace. And since before the beginning of the State of Israel, the Arabs were against us living here. It is part of the Koran, part of their religion that Jews are dihimis and unfit to rule over them in dir al Islam. Once the Left wakes up to the reality, it could possibly move forward and gain strength, but to continue with ideas and policies that only brought disaster is in itself a disaster.

MK Galon from the Meretz party blames the government for the isolation of Israel in Europe and elsewhere , when in fact Meretz is the cause of all the boycotts and the sanctions, MK Galon and others like her support those groups.
