I had the pleasure and privilege of living and working in The Netherlands about thirty years ago.
At that time, I'd have to say, it was pretty close to paradise.
However, the changes in the population have made it dangerous for openly Jewish people to live and/or visit.
I personally, never experienced Anti Semitism, but at that time, I was not observant in any way.
The attraction of Holland to tourists is obvious: Beautiful flowers and landscape, proximity to Belgium, France, Germany. Great roads and public transportation, great restaurants.....
Of course, for those who are not observant, I concur, the Brown Cafes and the thriving sex industry does draw tourists too.
