Nobody should be above the law. If someone is breaking it the leaders must have the courage to *lead* and bring the person (people) before the courts. --- Not doing this sends the message that some are above the law. 'Sacred Cows', if you will. --- In the US, Trump is attacking 'sacred cows' and people are supporting him because of this.

The problem is that there is a tendency to simplification like calling these rabbis 'cowards'. They are not; they are 'extremists'. Most people are too busy to think on a deep level about anything other than their work and making more money so only look superficially into news. Extremism plays a large part in swaying small brains to whom simple answers make sense. The real threat is the non-thinking extremists, not 'coward' rabbis.
