The Nazis were fascists. The Right wing, anywhere, in Israel too, are fascists. Fascism is when the State becomes the ultimate value and all other decent values, that criticise the State are subservient to it. Netanyahu and Shaked are slowly moving down the slippery slope.

The so-called right wing fanaticism is a recent development. It consists mostly of words some people find objectionable and graffiti scrawling. Nothing remotely comparable to murderous "Palestinian" terrorism. On the other hand, leftist groups like Peace Now and Breaking the Silence have been taking money from foreign Jew haters for decades to betray Israel. Watching far left groups get away with treason year after year, decade after decade is getting more and more Israelis fed up. Israel must stop tolerating treason. Stop pretending it is okay. That would be a huge step forward.

Perhaps it's different in Israel - but in the US we've seen hatred of Israel from the left for more than a decade. Also for more than a decade we've seen hatred - of many things but mainly the US, Western Culture and Israel. The US left have been great 'fans' of the Palestinians and we've heard 'Israel is an apartheid state' for quite some time also. --- In the US it can't be blamed on a reaction to right-wing rhetoric. That's been used as an excuse but I haven't bought it. (I'm not a fan of either extreme.) --- As far as speech goes, no speech that advocates violence should be tolerated. However, trying to define & police 'hate speech' (short of violence) is a slippery slope. --- Arrest & prosecute the violent. All sides equal punishment.

God states in Isaiah ...that when a nation apostasies from him , he allows strangers to come in and burn it up But when a nation does his will , he protects and cares for it . So as Psalm says " Unless God protects the city , its no good its guards kept awake .'

You have so much of it, on the Left and Right, in Religion and in Philosophy. You are choking with hatred and ironically hatred is making you happy because it gives some (temporary) purpose to you empty lives. But there is hope, that after those who hate so violently will self-destruct, the world will be a better place in which the Center will dominate. The Center doesn't hate anybody, never had!

I think the policies pursued by Israel and the fact that majority of Jews throughout the world somehow identify with these policies have created a situation where hatred of acts committed as a result of these policies is becoming synonymous with hatred towards Jews. Before Likud took over control over the lives of israelis, the country and the atmosphere in it was totally different. There was no hatred, no extremism, no religious fanaticism, no price-tag terrorism by there jewish fanatics, no church burnings, no burning houses with people inside. The "Center", as you put it, cannot dominate because they're too chicken to make a decision. Example - Dr. Ofer Cassif's distortions and slurs against Justice minister Ayelet Shaked are incitement to hatred - hatred of the Justice minister in particular and her party and those that agree with her in general. Germany at the Hitler's era was not surrounded by hostile countries, covert and overt, which have tried several times its annihilation.
