1. If this wedding was not planted by the Shin Bet
(01.01.16)
how in the world did it get to Channel 10 first? Who are these guys hidden under a mask? How come the undercover agents unwisely forgot to change their street clothing when they went to the wedding?
2. Remember: Toy guns at weddings are against the law
(01.01.16)
You can be jailed for at least 3 weeks if you wave such guns in the air. However Arabs who attend with will real guns are approved.
3. No. 2
MJL   (01.01.16)
He was jailed not only for waving his . He was jailed for letting his gun out of his possession, which is an offence punishable by law in the IDF. It applies to any and all soldiers.
4. Right and Wrong
Yehuda ,   Yerushalayim   (01.01.16)
He's an idiot for letting his gun be passed around, but that's not what this is about. The government and army only care because they're outraged over celebrating the killing of terrorists.
5. No. 2 what No. 3 said is correct FYI he got off easy
Jew-C ,   JewLandia (Israel)   (01.01.16)
probably because it was a first offense. IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisenkot is no nonsense but also very fair. He could have turned this into a "Leman Yeru v'yerau" (you will see and be in afraid; you may read: "to make an example of someone's offense via the heavy punishment meted out") that is IDF CoS Eisenkot was fair and didn't over punish.
6. this is the 4th wedding of this type in 2015
(01.01.16)
So number 1 you and your questions are not relevant.
7. Soldier jailed from wedding of hate
Jeremy ,   Hula Valley Kibbutz   (01.01.16)
Jailing him is a good start, next revoke any gun permits of anyone else that was at this wedding
