I know I know there is no occupation, somehow 776 Israelis died in 1967 when we didn't occupy the West Bank, 126 when we didn't occupy Jerusalem. What are the roots of BDS? The obvious answer is "Palestinians", (with help from treacherous Israeli leftists). "Palestinians" demonize Israel around the world and promote BDS. They are the head of the snake. Any rational battle against BDS must involve making "Palestinians" pay a very severe price for it. It is absurd to pretend we fight BDS, while lavishing "Palestinians" with food, money, materials, electricity, work permits etc.

While the organizers of the anti BDS conference and others are correct that the official BDS movement is headed by people with an agenda of ending Israel, it's also true that the BDS movement gives these people something to focus on rather than look at the deeper issues driving BDS. It's a real shame that the right wing of the Pro Israel camp and the Right Wing of the Pro Palestine camp (BDS) get all the attention, and no one has the courage or leadership skills to deal with the real issues of borders, refugees, and security.

So why did the 1967 war happen then? Oh I know - because somehow Egypt, Syria and Jordon KNEW that Israel intended to occupy Judea, Samaria and Jerusalem and decided to attack so that could happen!
