Why should Trump be more trusted than Bush?

As a Jewish Israeli I laud all the great support for Israel, but.... If I were a US citizen (which I am not), I would want to hear how support for Israel is in the best interests of my country, the US. There are certainly good reasons which may include a democratic ally in the Middle East, a good source for intelligence and understanding about the ME, a great source of new technology and advanced agricultural developments, a strong ally which shares US ethics and values, and probably more. I would like to hear US leaders talk about US interests and values which align with support for Israel.
