Lapid hat to move so far to the right, in order to make gains, that one could call his party today easily "Likud light".The same applies to the Labor party, they are now, where Lapid's party was a couple of years ago.. The Israel of 2016 is most probably the most right-wing country in the whole world (maybe together with Saudi-Arabia). Yes, we saw the results in the last elections! It's time to take some polls about how believable polls are.

Hmmmm how interesting that Ynet still puts such belief in the polls. It must take a very short term memory to forget how badly the polls predicted the results in the last election. Then again, if it belittles the likud and Bibi they are prepared to believe anything!

Israeli pollsters have proven themselves consistently, for decades, to be leftist biased and inaccurate. Why believe the same pollsters who predicted "Zionist Union" would win the elections.

FINALLY!! Israelis are starting to wake up from their deep sleep of apathy - lets hope they dont regress into "I have no time for this" or "so what can we do that's the way it is" and only care about their own personal self interests!

Lapid is no egoist. He is in fact an extremely nice, down to earth person. Everyone who meets him is charmed by his decency and self-deprecating humor. People like you are just jealous. He certainly beats everyone in the Knesset in looks and that pisses off nonentity males like yourself. And just to rub it, he's gaining support because he's the only man in the Knesset who actually works for his salary. His entire party is the only party which has rejected pay increases in the third term they have been members of the Knesset. Integrity in politics also wins.

I can understand Lapid and Libermann;s rise in the polls, since this current non-stop wave of terror and the increase in European anti-Israeli and antisemitism, the government seems impotent. Liebermann talks very tough about punishing terrorists and their families and supporters. So he appeals to those who want to see action. Lapid is a great speaker and knows how to put Israel's interest first in Europe. The truth is that Bibi should bring them into the government; he needs them.

It would never work - Herzog tried it a few years ago and Bibi simply squashed him....Bibi is interested only in Bibi - remember Lapid trying to correct the corruption of paid gov't personel who did nothing but collect the money? Remember what Bibi did? Cant remember that's because Bibi did nothing! He ignored Lapid's work!
