1. Fascinating to watch US Left dalliance with Iran.
(01.31.16)
Almost imperceptibly the Left has increasingly embraced the idea of Iran as hegemon of the New Middle East. It is fascinating to watch an alliance of feminists, revisionists, America haters and self-hating progressives rally to the idea, postulated by their messiah Obama, that Iran is the cure-all for what ails the Middle East. And they have their points. Saudi Arabian Wahabian fundamentalism is a sickness that infects the body politic of the Sunni world. Saudi Arabia was largely responsible for 9-11 and Persians are, collectively, more advanced than Arabs. However, Iran is no friend of the West. To listen to New Left activists, one might not realize that. Of course, the Left has no idea what it's talking about. With its knee jerk response that all the world's problems are due to America, that power most anti-themic to American power is the hero of the Leftist be it Cuba, China, Iran, etc. This too will end badly. Israel is wise to play both sides of the fence. Let the Muslim "brothers" slaughter each other. Allahhu achbar.
2. Israel, be wise and don't spend blood and treasure for Arabs
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (01.31.16)
Israel is 1000 miles away from Iran. Sunni Arabs are bordering Iran. They are being already directly attacked by Shia Iran in Iraq, Syria, Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon, Sucking Arabia and Yemen. Let Arabs defend themselves and as a side benefit this protects Israel too.
3. The only jarring statement: 'Israel is not changing the
(01.31.16)
status quo"; we bloody well should!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and it's about time.
