be very well protected.How is this guaranteed in international diplomatic meetings? How can we be sure that the military leaders at such meetings will be able to keep military secrets? Who will focus on Israel's every minute threatened security? To mix IDF and diplomacy benefits greatly our foes but is dangerous to Israel.

Good that Israel has high level people in IDF, which are largely respected in different theatres of war.

it looks like our 'diplomacy' is divided among the mossad, the idf, and netanyahu. the idf even gives schooling in the subject. which i guess equals out bibi's experience, and the mossad's. it might be interesting to examine just how the israel foreign office got relegated. and what if any positive or negative consequences there are, have been, or will (might) be. generally i think israelis are disbelievers in 'talk shops' like the foreign state departments, when it comes to our own survival. maybe that explains in part also our disbelief in the UN EUROCRATS and NGOs. A lot of poison gas when not simply malicious hot air.
