1. what does that mean?
jochair thijssen ,   Kfar Saba   (02.29.16)
the survey does not clearly define power is that military or economic power ? military power is not the issue, more important is international popularity and recognition, in that respect Israel is indeed doing well despite growing antisemitism and BDS efforts, that have the opposite effect
2. Yes, but Israel is 25th Best Country Overall
Rich ,   Toronto, Canada   (02.29.16)
behind Russia which is 24th. Germany is number one and Canada is in second place.
3. Netanyahus legacy, his standing in jewish history:
Scar ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (02.29.16)
In the overall list, Israel is ranked at 25. Other rankings, by OECD, shows a similar picture. A light unto the nations? Not yet. As for now, Netanyahus legacy is mediocre. Will he achieve greatness, what will future generations say about his legacy, his standing in jewish history?
4. The worst FM Israel ever had is correct for once.
Michael ,   California, USA   (02.29.16)
But that is only because Israel doesn't have a Foreign Minister right now. Still, I applaud Mr. Lieberman for saying something correct; better late than never for this dude. If Israel really was military power, it would pay its conscription soldiers better. And, it would have a much lower mishtamtim cadre. And, every religious conscription age person would serve, and so on.
5. Israel powerful only against religious Jews
July   (02.29.16)
Against Arabs they're probably from the weakest countries.
6. All rosey in the garden
Jez ,   Netanya   (02.29.16)
Well there you have it all in one. Bibi thinks Israel's standing in the world is excellent. With judgements like that perhaps his judgement of the Iran deal falls into the same category.
7. Israel's world ranking
Zwi ,   Modiin, Israel   (02.29.16)
As usual Bibi cherrypicked his facts. Actually Israel is ranked 25th out of 66 overall and 34th in quality of life.
8. Lapid has never achieved a thing in his life
C   (02.29.16)
netanyahu is so much more accomplished in all fields than lapid that the comparison is embarassing. those who vote for him must be clueless and indifferent to the nation's national security.
9. Lieberman has refused to join the coalition
C   (02.29.16)
lieberman's ambition is to become prime minister, but that will never happen. netanyahu's foreign policy has been as good as it can be under present circumstances. the obama presidency has been a catastrophe for israel. there was nothing that netanyahu could have done to prevent the fake nuclear deal with iran. obama does what he wants, regardless of the wishes of congress or the laws of the united states. as meir daggan once said, if the united states is weak, israel is weakened. all that said, the alliances forged by netanyahu, military and economic, are impressive.
