Fully agreed the power of planting watering harvesting and using science . Psychiatry has shown walking in green environments regularly helps depression . There were mistakes in early zionism though which became really counterproductive to a internationalised state with strong local autonomy . But Jabotinskys dream equality but the Jews being the minority in the area control security and immigration within the modest area allotted to the Jews rings strong in these times .

Sand's explanation of the birth of the "myth" of a Jewish people as a group with a common, ethnic origin has been summarized as follows: "[a]t a certain stage in the 19th century intellectuals of Jewish origin in Germany, influenced by the folk character of German nationalism, took upon themselves the task of inventing a people "retrospectively," out of a thirst to create a modern Jewish people. From historian Heinrich Graetz on, Jewish historians began to draw the history of Judaism as the history of a nation that had been a kingdom, became a wandering people and ultimately turned around and went back to its birthplace."[ "Following 70 years of intensive excavations in the Land of Israel, archaeologists have found out: The patriarchs' acts are legendary, the Israelites did not sojourn in Egypt or make an exodus, they did not conquer the land. Neither is there any mention of the empire of David and Solomon, nor of the source of belief in the God of Israel. These facts have been known for years, but Israel is a stubborn people and nobody wants to hear about it." "All these events [in the biblical books of Exodus and Joshua] are practically contradicted by archaeology." SANDS IS an ex communist, radical anti-Zionist who believes that there is no such thing as a ‘Jewish People’…he is also a professor of…European history…not Jewish history. Genetic studies show that a large scale movement of Jews out of the Middle East has occured at some time, and therefore the Jewish Diaspora does have direct links to the Middle East. SANDS is trying to show that Jews have little connection to the Middle East and thereby attempt to lessen the legitimacy of Israel….the genetics disprove SANDS theory. If a Jewish homeland had been based soely upon a common religion then they could have set up a homeland anywhere in the world….the genetic link justifies their move back to the Middle East, namely ISRAEL
4. #2 - Mambo Jumbo bunch of nonsense
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (03.04.16)
Complete ignorance of Zionism history that began in Russia (Odessa more specifically) in the 19th century as a movement to return Jewish nationalism back to its origin - the Land of Israel. The rest of the Antisemitic poster's comments can be similarly debunked.
