1. if he doesn't like the pay he can always quit!
Jew-C ,   JewLandia (Israel)   (03.18.16)
after all no one is forcing him to be Prime Minister of the State of Israel -- it is his choice. after all clearly he's not a bad lecturer or author, as it was his income from his lectures and books that bought him: a. a multi-million dollar home in Rehavia (for which the Israeli tax payer paid for all of the remodeling and today the Israeli tax payer pays the upkeep on this home) b. a multi-million dollar home in Ceasaria (for which the Israeli tax payer paid for all of the remodeling and today the Israeli tax payer pays the upkeep on this home) So really and truly this passive aggressive belly aching about salary only points out how even at micro-management the prime minister is only capable of embarrassing himself. Meaning: No! I do not think he deserves a raise!
2. other salaries

He fulfilles other portfolios. Does he get a salary for each one of them as well? That would considerably increase his income. If he does not get those salaries, where does that money go?
3. To #1: Please think a little harder

As you say, Netanyahu could earn much more outside government. So you should have realized that he published the stub not in order to request more but simply to show that he is not doing the job for the money. For which he should be given credit, even by those who disagree with him. Recently, Isaac Herzog published his stub, showing that he takes home after deductions MORE than the PM. For being Head of the Opposition, with a much lighter workload (he is merely required to dream up ways to denounce the government).

he's ripping all of us off with help from fool's like #3
6. He needs no money
Michael Black   (03.19.16)
The citizens pay for his private homes, for his ice-cream and his wife's dresses. He just pays the cigars (maybe) and for that his salary is sufficient.
7. Wow
Tel Aviv Tom ,   United States   (03.18.16)
Government employees don't earn huge salary's. The President of the US earns $400,000 a year. His wife (Michelle) earned $317,000 a year working part time before he ran for office and as a senator. . It is good money, however it is not great money especially if you live in a major US city, but Bibi salary is a disgrace, because in Israel every time you purchase something you buy for the government as well, considering there outrageous 100 percent tax rate on cars, gasoline etc. Living on 40,000 NIS a month in Israel is a struggle for a family of 4.
